Preface to “Fused Figures”

The albatross of censorship has been unweighted to open freely and fully display the festival of the human form, the naked body, the nude revealed, erotic engagements and sexual figurative obsessions. So the series of works in Vol. 3 remain primarily erotic as they are “etched” out of crayon and pastel with graphite and prisma color pencils… works of hetero and homo sexual encounters and counterparts in an open arena.

Red Hot Sucker

A soft pallet with delicate lineage that is bundled together etches out a poignant and relaxed portrait of eroticism.

An open portal, during an intimate sexual moment, is depicted by the use of clusters of lines imitating ‘brushstrokes’ in a sweeping style that adds an air of lightness to the fluid encounter.
